Silicon Grains

Silicon grains white

tan brown green yellow

red and that royal blue

small slices of glass

called, hallowed sacred

purified sanctified

by presence changed

into a place to stand

to kneel shoeless, lie

face down in reverence

eyes closed, grains

sticking to my face

opening pores

piercing my soul:

cleansing
