After John 17:20-24
The ones who
came after
the ones not
here but
separated by
time and
space and
culture and
history, theses
ones, too,
an odd thing to
pray for,
but they too are
the past
the present the
future
one body, a
unity
transcending
time just as
he transcends
space
and distance,
eras and ages.
The unity is
always there,
even when it’s
not.
The future is
always pulled
into now,
joining the past,
fused into now.
